Aref Ghorbani is a classically trained Iranian born musician, vocalist based in Glasgow. Aref has worked in the refugee sector for over 5 years and he is a music facilitator at 'Musicians in Exile' an award winning music project run by the Glasgow Barons, Govan Orchestra in Glasgow.

I uncovered my passion for music when I used to sing at parties when I was a kid. From that point on, I was involved in choir, musicals, and bands.
Live Life in Song
I followed my dream to Glasgow where i call it now 'Home'. I've studied Global Migrations and Social Justice at Glasgow University.
Be Inspired by Everything
I find inspiration all around me. I try to make my music representative of myself , my culture and my country. I love the places that most people don't give a second glance.
